Purpose of the Role
1.  ITFNZ Taekwon-Do has a key lead and support role in promoting and delivering Taekwon-Do Throughout New Zealand          
 a.   Our vision for ITKD to grow the original Taekwon-Do to be among the most popular martial arts and sports in every town in New Zealand.
 b.  Our mission is for ITKD to teach its members to develop mind, body and moral character through the art of Taekwon-Do.
2.   Our mission is based on the following values:
a. the philosophy and Moral Culture of the founder, General Choi Hong Hi,
b. preserving the Art of original Taekwon-Do, and its quality,
c. operating on a non-profit basis, for the benefit of our members,
d. peace, community, and family,
e. the tenets of Taekwon-Do;
    i.       Courtesy – respect for all people and all cultures; and to live according to etiquette,
    ii.       Integrity – not to compromise our teaching quality or standards,

Job description: 
 
To develop and implement a funding plan to diversify the Counties Manukau regions funding base and to be responsible for securing funding for both core services and special projects.

You will have: 
    - A proven track record of successful sport or‘not for profit’ fundraising. (preferably)
    - Ability to work independently.
    - Knowledge of the sports community in the Counties Manukau region.
    - Experience of working with management of community groups, government organisations or the business sector.
    - Writing and communication skills.
    - Your own computer and internet research skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of gaming charity funding applications
2. Preparation of documentation required to support gaming charity funding applications
3. Administration of monies received from gaming charities
4. Collection of all receipts and documentation to support gaming charity funding received
5. Provision of required documentation to gaming charities for audit purposes
6. Liaising with gaming charities as necessary
7. Liaising with EO, CFO then CEO prior to lodging any funding application

Desperately seeking accomodation for a 1st gup female from Nelson. She is travelling to Auckland for the "Celebrating - Women in Taekwon Do seminar" held 15 October 2011 at Wesley College. Accom will be for the Friday and Saturday evening, so if you can assist please contact me asap.

This is open to all female practitioners, and also those women that sit at the back of the class that are wanting to give it a go.

We have had a boost in numbers, the standard has improved and the support has been tremendous..
Big Ups to Master McPhail that has given the senior belts a good going over, the students have walked out of grading buggered but feedback has been very positive -
"wow Sir picked up the par this time, Im tired but feel great!",
"Now thats what I call a grading " - De La Salle Sunday am.  

We have 1 more grading in our region Thursday 8 September 2011 6.30pm at Maraetai.

thank you my dear for all your hard work for the team. As always you came through for us, and the orginising was superb!

And to the entire Counties Manukau team and crew... I cound'nt be more proud of you all. Your display of the tenets was fanastic, you supported each other just how a team should, Your spirit was so awesome, that we even had some to spare for Central Districts when they needed some extra cheers in the team sparring!   

Counties, you gave true demonstration of the meaning of TaeKwon-Do. Congratulations to you all. (cos we're what?!!)
